A Dedication to the families and individuals who have been affected by trauma, gun violence, and mental illness in our community.

Jaevone Harris
September 18, 1992 -November 17,2018
Jaevone attended and graduated from Henrico High School, after which he went on to serve his country in the U.S Navy; for four years. This was one of the happiest times of his life. He was one of the funniest people in the room 90% of the time. He lived to make others smile! Though he was the life of the party, he hid his own fears for years. Jaevone was struggling with his health while battling depression and life circumstances. He struggled every day to stay strong, but depression doesn't always look like sadness and tears, sometimes it looks like smiles and laughter.
You are truly missed and Loved forever.

Hall Family
Tyesha Hall, Nyla Pemberton, Cantre Ruffin, Caiya Ruffin
On Tuesday March 28, 2023, a tragic shooting took place in the home of Tyesha Hall in Henrico, VA. Tyesha is a devoted single mother of 4 children and a dedicated advocate for domestic violence and mental health awareness as a QMHP in her community and has been for more than 20 years, sadly, she has now been personally impacted by the very thing she rallies against-domestic violence.

Darrell Johnson
August 16, 1978- February 26,2023
Let's remember the homecoming of Darrell Kerry Johnson, Sr., who's fierce independence and amazing spirit made him shine like a beacon to us all.
Let's remember his time on earth as someone who loved so deeply and lived so vividly. He laughed, He smiled, and he lived to the fullest.
Let's never forget the lessons we have learned from Darrell; his generosity, zest for life and unwavering desire to make the world better.
Let's promise to always remember his warmth and enthusiasm for everything beautiful.
